2006 m. Nr. 3 Research into soil contamination by heavy metals in the northern part of the Klaipėda city, Lithuania
This article describes researches into contamination of surface soil layer by heavy metals (Ag, Co, Cr, Cu, Mn, Ni, Pb, Zn) in the northern territory of the Klaipėda city.
Sixty four samples were taken from the surface soil layer (according to geochemical screening and cartographic techniques, scale: 1:10 000) for the analysis of soil contamination. Sampling places were selected at equal distances within the study area between Sportininkų, J. Kanto, S. Šimkaus and Naujosios uosto, Švyturio streets.
